Bread Gnocchi recipe

Ingredients
500 g | white bread, crustless |
2 medium | eggs, beaten |
2 tbsp | Parmesan cheese, grated |
3 tbsp | flour |
salt, to taste | |
milk |
Instructions
Soften the bread in milk. Squeeze it dry and place in a bowl.
Add the beaten eggs, flour, cheese and salt to taste. Work into smooth and soft dough and shape into dumplings the size of a walnut with wet hands and a teaspoon. Dip them in flour and place on to a floured sheet pan.
Place gnocchi in slightly salted boiling water and cook for about 5 minutes. Remove from pot with a strainer.
Bread Gnocchi are served as an accompaniment to dishes with a rich sauce.
