The name says it all!
Ready in: 3 days 10 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 36- 18 medium to large fresh jalapenos, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced (more if desired)
- 1 1/2 tablespoon minced garlic
- 3 cups water
- 3 cups white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon pickling salt
- 36 hard boiled eggs, shelled
Preparation method
Prep: 3 days | Cook: 10 mins1. Place jalapenos, onion, garlic, water, vinegar, and pickling salt in a large pot. Bring to a boil, and continue to boil, stirring occasionally, until jalapenos turn from bright green to a greyish green, approximately 10 minutes.
2. Layer hard boiled eggs, jalapenos, and onion slices in a one gallon glass jar. Pour remaining liquid over the layered items.
3. Place a lid on the jar, and refrigerate for at least 3 days before trying. They get hotter (and better, in my opinion) the longer you let them sit.Cook Information Cleanup:
