Brandon's classic pickled eggs recipe details
Another variation of the classic American pickled egg.
Ready in: 3 days 1 hour 20 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 36- 36 Hard boiled, shelled eggs
- 3 Cups water
- 3 Cups white distilled vinegar
- 1 Large yellow onion, sliced
- 1 Tbsp fresh minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp pickling salt
Preparation method
Prep: 1 hour | Cook: 20 mins | Extra time: 3 days, marinating1. Hard boil eggs, and remove shells.
2. Place remaining ingredients in a large pot, and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
3. Layer hard boiled eggs and onions in a one gallon glass jar. Pour remaining liquid from large pot over the layered items listed above.
4. Place a lid on the jar, and refrigerate for at least 3 days before trying.
