3 tbsp | butter |
3 tbsp | conola oil |
2 medium | onions, chopped |
120 ml | Bourbon whiskey |
120 ml | tomato sauce |
120 ml | cider vinegar |
120 ml | orange juice |
120 ml | maple syrup |
60 ml | dark molasses |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Melt the butter with the oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté for about 5 minutes.Add remaining ingredients and stir well to combine. Cook until thickened over low heat, stirring continously, about 30 to 45 minutes.
