Bourbon flank steak recipe details
A simple marinade, heavy on the bourbon and seasoned with soy sauce is all this steak needs before crisping up under the broiler.

Ingredients
Serves: 6- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ground black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon ground dried ginger
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 pounds flank steak
Preparation method
Prep: 2 hours 10 mins | Cook: 12 mins1. Mix together ingredients. Marinate flank steak for 2 hours, covered, in the refrigerator.
2. Preheat broiler for high heat, and adjust rack 6-inches away from the heat source.
3. Remove steak from the marinade and place onto a broiler drip pan. Discard the remaining marinade and pat the steak dry with paper towels.
4. Broil 7 minutes on one side and 5 on the other for medium-rare doneness.
