An easy recipe for Asian spare ribs, simple for any beginning cook. A long marinade in hoisin sauce and other Asian spices give these ribs great taste.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 2 pounds pork spare ribs
- 4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
- 6 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic
Preparation method
Prep: 25 mins | Cook: 25 mins | Extra time: 45 mins, marinating1. In a saucepan over medium heat, bring ribs and water to boil. Simmer for 25 minutes on medium-low heat.
2. Lift ribs out of water and place in roasting pan. Whisk remaining ingredients together in a bowl and pour over ribs, flip to coat, cover dish with plastic wrap or foil, and refrigerate to marinate for 45 minutes.
3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
4. Uncover ribs and bake for 25 minutes to brown. Serve.
