Ingredients

1 cup butter

2 cups sugar

4 eggs

3 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

3/4 cups buttermilk

3 to 4 very ripe bananas, sliced

1 cup walnuts (optional)

1 cup blueberries, rinsed and drained

Instructions:

Cream together butter, sugar, and eggs. Combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk to creamed mixture. Mix well. Beat 200 strokes. Fold in bananas and blueberries. Bake in greased and floured pans at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour.
