Black and white stars recipe details
Ingredients
225 g | flour |
50 g | cornflour |
1 tsp | baking powder |
150 g | soft butter |
75 g | sugar |
1 pack(s) | vanilla sugar |
1 medium | egg |
salt | |
125 g | dark chocolate, roughly chopped |
10 g | coconut fat |
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the flour with cornflour, baking powder, butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg and a pinch of salt. Knead until smooth. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Roll out the dough and cut out 60 stars. With a small plain cookie cutter cut out rounds in the middle of 30 of the stars. Transfer all the cookies onto lined baking trays and bake for 6-8 minutes.
Melt the chocolate with the coconut fat. Thickly brush the plain stars with the coating. Dust the stars with the cut out rounds generously with icing sugar and place immediately onto the black stars while still sticky. Allow to cool and get firm.
