Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 pound refrigerated pizza dough
- 4 bacon slices, chopped
- 1/2 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into slices
- 3 teaspoons blackening Cajun seasoning
- 1 1/2 shallots, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 (15 ounce) jar Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 6 slices Provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation method
Prep: 25 mins | Cook: 15 mins1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
2. Stretch dough out into a 16×10-inch rectangle; set on a baking sheet.
3. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy; drain on paper towels, leaving the rendered fat in the skillet.
4. Toss chicken with Cajun seasoning, then cook in the bacon fat until the meat is white through and through. Stir in shallots and garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
5. Coat crust with Alfredo sauce, then arrange chicken, bacon, mushrooms, olives, tomatoes, blue cheese, basil, and thyme on the sauce. Set the provolone on top and sprinkle with Parmesan.
6. Bake for about 15 minutes, until pizza is heated through and cheese is beginning to brown. Slice into wedges and serve.
