Bell pepper goulash recipe details
Great comfort food meal for a cold day. Serve over steamed rice, mashed potatoes, or loaf bread. Great on all three. Enjoy. Goulash can be vacuum packed and frozen for up to 1 year.
Ready in: 1 hour 20 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 20- 3 pounds ground chuck
- 4 cups sweet onion
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 6 cups chopped peppers (red,orange,green)
- 1 (48 ounce) bottle premium ketchup
- 1 teaspoon clove powder
- 1 teaspoon Hungarian paprika
- 1 teaspoon cracked pepper
- 1 tablespoon red pepper chips
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 1 hour1. Brown ground chuck and drain.
2. Add onions and garlic to beef and toss together in pot, continue to cook at a medium low setting until onions get that almost translucent look to them.
3. Add peppers allow to cook for 20-25 minutes, this allows time for the peppers to flavor beef.
4. Add all other ingredients to pot and simmer for 1hr to 1 1/2 hrs, Stir every so often so it does not stick to pot.
