Ingredients
Serves: 6- 4 (12 ounce) cans or bottles Budweiser(R) beer
- 1 cup prepared yellow mustard
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 pounds country-style pork ribs
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup Worchestershire sauce
- 1 onion, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- dash cayenne pepper, or to taste
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 1 hour 30 mins | Extra time: 30 mins, marinating1. Pour the beer into a large pot, and stir in the mustard and brown sugar until dissolved. Add the ribs, and bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Cook 45 minutes.
2. Drain the ribs in a colander set in the sink. Meanwhile, whisk the ketchup, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and onion together in a large bowl. Season with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Toss the drained ribs with the BBQ sauce, and marinate at least 30 minutes.
3. Prepare a charcoal grill or BBQ for medium heat.
4. Cook the ribs about 5 minutes on each side.
