Beef stew in beer recipe details
Ingredients
900 g | beef, diced |
50 g | butter, unsalted |
¼ tsp | coriander |
4 medium | onions, chopped |
2 sprig(s) | thyme |
1 l | brown ale |
2 tbsp | flour |
2 tbsp | Dijon mustard |
Instructions
Sauté the onions in the butter, 2 minutes. Add the beef and brown for 4-5 minutes. Add the flour, coriander and thyme and mustard. Stir well. Add the beer and cover the meat.Cooking over low heat for 60-90 minutes.
Remove the meat and keep warm. Strain the sauce and serve.
