Ingredients
For the beef: | |
350 g | round steak, cut into strips |
1 tbsp | cornstarch |
1 medium | egg, whites only |
4 tbsp | vegetable oil |
1 tsp | minced ginger |
2 stalks | green onions, chopped |
For the sauce: | |
4 tbsp | soy sauce |
4 tbsp | cider vinegar |
2 tbsp | dry sherry |
1 tsp | sugar |
¼ tsp | salt |
½ tsp | sesame oil |
Instructions
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil and stir-fry beef mixture for a minute. Remove and drain.Heat remaining oil and stir-fry ginger and green onions until ginger becomes golden and onions are tender.
Combine ingredients for the sauce, except the sesame oil, in a bowl and add to the cooked beef mixture. Stir-fry everything together for additional 15 seconds. Add sesame oil and mix well.
