Beef deck recipe details
Ingredients
1 medium | ciabatta loaf, or baguette |
butter | |
8 slice(s) | cold roastbeef, thinly cut |
2 tbsp | English mustard |
2 tbsp | marmalade, thick cut if possible |
2 | cooked beetroot, sliced |
1 bunch(es) | watercress |
1 bunch(es) | parsley |
½ small | red onion, cut into rings |
1 | persimmon, sliced |
1 | orange, juice only |
1 tbsp | olive oil |
Instructions
Cut the ciabatta horizontally and butter if wished on bottom portion only. Spread mustard on top portion.Fold and arrange the beef throughout the buttered portion and top with beetroot slices. Add marmalade in small amounts without spreading. Cover with the top portion.
Place the herb leaves and onion slices in a small bowl and whisk the orange juice and oil together and pour over the leaves. add persimmon and fold together.
Cut the deck into four and divide onto two plates with a portion of the salad.
