Beef chasseur recipe details
- Ingredients
- 8 ounces beef fillet
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire
- 1/2 teaspoon currant jelly
- 2 Tablespoons demi glace
- 1/4 cup burgundy
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon butter
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
Rub garlic, salt, and pepper into fillet and flash fry in 1 tablespoon butter. Take out and put in baking dish. Save juices and add Worcestershire sauce, currant jelly, demi glace, burgundy, water, garlic, butter, and mushrooms.
Add all to juices remaining and reduce by 1/2. Pour over beef and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
