Ingredients
1 tbsp | olive oil |
1 small | onion, chopped |
2 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
200 ml | ketchup |
60 ml | malt vinegar |
50 g | sugar |
60 ml | strong coffee, freshly brewed |
3 tbsp | Guinness |
2 tbsp | molasses |
2 tbsp | Dijon mustard |
2 tbsp | tomato paste |
2 tsp | Worcestershire sauce |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Sauté onion and garlic in oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add all remaining ingredients, cover and simmer until thickened, stirring occasionally, about 25 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.Brush on chicken or ribs during last 10 minutes of grilling.
