Bbq sauce ii recipe details
Ingredients
2 tbsp | olive oil |
1 | onion, chopped |
2 clove(s) | garlic, chopped |
2 tbsp | tomato paste |
1 tbsp | brown sugar |
400 g | peeled and diced tomatoes |
1 tbsp | Worcestershire sauce |
1 tbsp | white wine vinegar |
1 tbsp | malt vinegar |
1 tbsp | hot mustard |
some | salt, freshly ground black pepper, cayenne pepper and hot paprika powder to taste |
Instructions
Sauté onion and garlic in the oil until translucent.Add tomato paste and cook for a further minute, stirring constantly. Add the other ingredients and bring to the boil.
Reduce heat to medium and cook until thickened. Season to taste and set aside to cool.
Place in a blender and blend until smooth. Store in an airtight container or glass jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
