Basil chicken over angel hair recipe details
Ingredients1. Boneless chicken breasts halves, cooked and cubed (2c)
2. chopped tomatoes (2 1/2c)
3. chopped garlic (1clove)
4. finely chopped onion (1/2c)
5. angel hair pasta (1package about 8 ounces)
6. parmesan cheese (1/4c)
7. hot pepper sauce (1/8tsp)
8. salt (1/2tsp)
9. chopped fresh basil (1/4c)
Method of preparation
1. Take a large pot, boil salted water in it and then cook pasta in it for about 8 to 10 minutes until it gets soft. Drain it and keep it aside.
2. Take a large frying pan; place it over medium high heat. Saute garlic and onion in it and then mix basil, chicken, tomatoes, salt and hot pepper sauce in it.
3. Now turn down the heat to low, cover the pan and keep it to simmer for about 5 minutes by stirring it regularly until the tomatoes get soft. Mix the sauce in cooked pasta and then serve it with parmesan cheese.
