Basic omelet recipe

Start with this simple omelet recipe and either eat as is, or add your own twist based on spices, veggies (or leftovers) that you have in the fridge.
Ready in: 7 mins
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 eggs
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 2 mins
1. Place butter in an 8-inch nonstick skillet and set over medium-high heat.
2. In a bowl, beat eggs with water, salt, and pepper. When the butter melts, pour the eggs into the skillet.
3. As the eggs begin to cook, lift the set edges up to let uncooked egg flow beneath. When egg is set, add any filling desired, fold in half, and serve.
