Ingredients
400 g | sheets of lasagna |
250 g | grated cheese (Cheddar or Gouda) |

500 g | minced beef |
1 | onion, chopped |
2 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 large can(s) | tomatoes, peeled and diced |
200 ml | crème fraîche |
salt and pepper, to taste | |
oregano | |
1 bunch(es) | basil, chopped |
2 tbsp | oil |
Instructions
In a pan, heat the oil and fry the onion, garlic and the mince over medium heat until the meat is browned and crumbled. Stir in the canned tomatoes with their juice. If the sauce is too thick, add some water. Bring to a boil and season to taste with salt, pepper and oregano. Cook for at least 15 minutes, then stir in the basil.Preheat the oven to 200°C.
In a buttered casserole, layer in turn some sauce, lasagna sheets and grated cheese until all ingredients are used up, but spare some cheese. Finish with the crème fraîche and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake for 35-45 minutes.
