Barbecued meatballs recipe details
- Ingredients Meatballs
- 3 pounds ground beef
- One 12-ounce can evaporated milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1 cup cracker crumbs or bread crumbs
- Sauce:
- 2 cups catsup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Meatballs: Mix meatball ingredients together and shape into balls, about the size of a walnut. Freeze on a cookie sheet on a single layer. Then place in plastic (sealable) bag. Use as needed.
Sauce:Combine ingredients, pour over meatballs in baking dish, and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Makes:80 meatballs.
