Banana tiramisu recipe details
Ingredients
300 ml | whipping cream, whipped |
250 g | mascarpone cheese |
100 g | sugar, divided |
250 ml | freshly brewed coffee |
4 large | bananas, sliced diagonally |
Ladyfingers | |
cacao, for garnish |
Instructions
Whip cream until soft peaks form. Add mascarpone and 65g of the sugar. Gently mix together. Set side.Dissolve the remaining sugar in the hot coffee and set aside to cool.
Dip ladyfinger biscuits into the coffee and layer over the base of a deep tray.
Then put a layer of the cream mixture over the biscuits. Spread the sliced bananas over the cream filling and repeat the process again until the tray is filled and the ingredients are used up. The final layer should be the cream.
Sprinkle cacao over the top. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours before serving.
