Rhubarb steak sauce recipe details
Ingredients
1 kg | rhubarb, washed, trimmed, chopped |
500 g | onions, chopped |
500 ml | vinegar |
450 g | brown sugar |
1 tsp | cinnamon |
1 tsp | allspice |
½ tsp | cloves |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and leave on a simmer for about 1 hour or until thickened and rhubarb is tender. Stir frequently. Cool. Store in refrigerator.Preparation time:
