Balsamic cherry sauce recipe details
Ingredients
2 tbsp | honey |
120 ml | water |
300 g | cherries, pitted, in syrup, drained |
2 tsp | balsamic vinegar |
1 ½ tsp | cornstarch |
3 tbsp | cold water |
Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine honey and water. Warm over low heat and stir until honey is dissolved.Add the cherries and simmer for about 3 minutes.
Add the balsamic vinegar and cook for about 1 minute.
Mix together the cornstarch and the 3 teaspoons cold water in a small dish. Stir into the cherry mixture.
Simmer for about 3-5 minute, or until slightly thickened.
