Balsamic Cherry Sauce recipe
|300 g||cherries, pitted, in syrup, drained|
|2 tsp||balsamic vinegar|
|1 ½ tsp||cornstarch|
|3 tbsp||cold water|
In a small saucepan, combine honey and water. Warm over low heat and stir until honey is dissolved.
Add the cherries and simmer for about 3 minutes.
Add the balsamic vinegar and cook for about 1 minute.
Mix together the cornstarch and the 3 teaspoons cold water in a small dish. Stir into the cherry mixture.
Simmer for about 3-5 minute, or until slightly thickened.
