Ingredients
6 | chicken legs |
50 ml | light soy sauce |
40 ml | dark soy sauce |
100 ml | honey |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 tbsp | Tabasco sauce |
½ tbsp | anise |
1 tbsp | cinnamon |
25 g | ginger, grated |
100 ml | tomatoes, puréed |
1 tbsp | curry powder |
3 tsp | balsamic vinegar |
1 tbsp | paprika powder |
Instructions
In a bowl, mix together the soy sauces, honey, garlic, Tabasco sauce, anise, cinnamon, ginger, puréed tomatoes, curry, vinegar and paprika powder. Stir until well combined.Preheat the oven to 170°C.
Arrange the chicken legs in a casserole dish and pour over the sauce. Turn until well coated. Bake for 1 hour. Occasionally brush the chicken skin with the sauce.
Serve with rice.
