Baked squash with gruyere recipe details
Ingredients
400 g | squash |
½ pint(s) | single cream |
100 g | Gruyere |
50 | fresh breadcrumbs |
1 tbsp | butter (and/or oil if you prefer) |
1 tbsp | freshly grated parmesan |
Instructions
Peel and dice the squash.Melt the oil and butter in a frying pan and sauté the squash until browning. Tip the squash into an oven proof dish and sprinkle the juices over. Mix in the diced Gruyere cheese and breadcrumbs. Cover with the cream and sprinkle over the Parmesan.
Bake in the preheated oven at full heat for about 15 minutes or until the top is brown and bubbling.
Serve with crusty bread or over pasta, with a green salad.
