Baked spinach artichoke dip recipe details

Ingredients
Serves: 8- 1 cup water
- 20 ounces baby spinach
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper
- 3 ounces cream cheese
- 9 ounces artichoke hearts, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 3 ounces Gruyere cheese, shredded
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 35 mins1. Bring water to boil in a skillet. Toss in the spinach and cook over medium heat until spinach has lost some of its moisture, about 2 minutes. Then drain, rinse, squeeze out as much water as you can, and chop.
2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
3. Saute the onion in the olive oil over medium heat for about 5 minutes, then add garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook for a few more minutes, until fragrant.
4. Add cream cheese, spinach, artichokes, mayonnaise, and 2 ounces of the Gruyere. Stir until smooth, then place in an 8×8-inch baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
5. Bake for 20 minutes, then remove from oven and serve.
