Baked praline french toast recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 2 loaves of French bread
- 10 eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 2 cups half & half
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
- Topping:
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar, tightly packed
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
Spray one 9 x 13-inch pan with non-stick spray. Slice bread and pack tightly in pan. Mix eggs, milk, half & half, sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla together and pour over bread. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Next morning, mix together topping ingredients. Pour mixture over bread and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
