Baked potatoes with baked beans and bacon recipe details
Ingredients
| 1 large can(s) | baked beans in tomato sauce |
| 4 large | potatoes |
| 100 g | freshly grated Cheddar cheese |
| 100 g | bacon, diced |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Wrap each potato with aluminium foil and bake for 40-50 minutes or until done.In a pan fry the bacon until crispy. Add the baked beans and cook until hot.
Open the foil and cut the baked potatoes lengthwise. Then, using your thumb and index finger squeeze at both ends of the cut. The potatoes will pop right open, then spoon the bean and bacon mixture on top. Sprinkle with cheese.
Return the potatoes into the oven and bake until the cheese has melted.
