Baked pike fillets recipe details
Ingredients
1 kg | pike fillets, washed, pat dry |
200 ml | milk |
2 stick(s) | celery, chopped |
1 small | onion, chopped |
120 g | Cheddar cheese, grated |
thyme | |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 200°C.Cut fillets into 4 parts. Season breadcrumbs with thyme, salt and pepper.
Prepare one bowl with milk and one with seasoned bread crumbs.
Dip fillets into milk, then into seasoned breadcrumbs.
Transfer fillets into a buttered baking dish and pour in milk and remaining breadcrumbs.
Sprinkle with chopped celery, onion and grated cheese.
Bake for 20 minutes.
