Baked mango ginger swordfish recipe details
Ingredients1. Swordfish steaks (2 pounds)
2. minced fresh ginger root (1tbsp)
3. dry sherry (1/2c)
4. lemon juice (2tbsp)
5. mango chutney (1c)
Method of preparation
1. Take shallow bowl of large size, place swordfish steaks in it. Take a separate bowl of small size, add mango chutney, ginger, dry sherry, lemon juice in it. Mix all the ingredients and then pour this mixture over the swordfish steaks in bowl and then toss the fish with mixture to coat the steaks.
2. Now cover the bowl and keep it in the refrigerator for about 1 hour to marinate the fish. Now heat the oven to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.
3. Take a baking dish of medium size, arrange the fish steaks in it and then pour marinade to cover them. Now place the dish in oven and bake fish at 350 degrees F for about 25 to 30 minutes.
4. While baking, add marinade over the fish irregularly and bake the fish until it gets flake easily with fork. When the swordfish gets ready then take it out from oven and serve it hot in serving platter.
