Ingredients
1 | apple, peeled, finely chopped |
2 tbsp | flour |
¼ tsp | baking powder |
⅛ tsp | salt |
150 g | sugar, plus 1 extra tsp, separated |
1 medium | egg |
1 tsp | vanilla, plus 1 extra tsp, separated |
60 g | walnuts, toasted, chopped |
120 ml | whipping cream |
Instructions
Sift flour, baking powder and salt.In a mixing bowl combine sugar, egg and one teaspoon vanilla. Beat until smooth. Fold in the sifted ingredients and mix well. Add apples and nuts. Mix again.
Pour into a greased pie pan and bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes.
Combine cream with 1 tsp sugar and 1/2 tsp vanilla. Whip cream until stiff.
Spoon baked apple pudding into a martini glass and top with whipped cream.
This dessert can be served warm or cold.
