Bacon and herb stuffed turkey olives in mushroom sauce recipe details
Ingredients
350 g | mushrooms, sliced |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
4 large slices | turkey breast fillet |
150 g | cream cheese |
50 g | f rozen spinach, thawed |
4 slice(s) | streaky bacon |
2 tbsp | oil |
100 ml | white wine, dry |
200 g | single cream |
200 ml | vegetable stock |
Instructions
Season the meat slices with salt and pepper and spread with the cream cheese. Top with the spinach and the bacon. Roll up and secure with tooth picks.In a large pan heat the oil. Fry the turkey olives until golden brown all around. Transfer into a casserole dish. Add the mushrooms into the pan and stir-fry for some minutes. Deglaze with the cream, wine and the stock. Bring to a boil. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Pour the sauce into the casserole. Bake in the preheated oven at 140°C for 20 minutes.
Serve with rice or ribbon noodles.
