Ingredients
1 kg | potatoes, peeled and cut into thin slices |
200 g | double cream |
50 g | freshly grated Parmesan cheese |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
soft butter to grease the casserole dish | |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 150°C.Grease a casserole dish with butter and divide the garlic on the bottom. Layer the potatoes into the casserole dish. Season each layer with salt and pepper. Evenly pour over the cream and sprinkle with the cheese.
Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the potatoes are soft.
Serve as a side dish with steaks or as a main dish with fresh salad.
