Au gratin asparagus with ham and cheese recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | white asparagus, peeled |
500 g | green asparagus, woody ends removed |
salt and pepper | |
200 g | ham, diced |
1 bunch(es) | parsley, chopped |
125 g | yoghurt |
150 g | crème fraîche |
180 g | cheese, grated |
1 tbsp | hazelnuts, chopped |
1 tbsp | sunflower oil |
some | butter |
Instructions
Cook the white asparagus in salted water for 7 minutes. Add the green asparagus and cook for 8 more minutes, until tender.Preheat the oven to 225°C.
In a bowl, mix together half of the cheese with the yoghurt, crème fraîche, parsley, hazelnuts and sunflower oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Place the asparagus in a buttered shallow casserole dish and sprinkle with the ham. Divide the sauce on top and dredge with the remaining cheese.
Bake for 15 minutes. Serve with new potatoes.
