Asparagus in wine recipe details
Ingredients
1 kg | asparagus, washed, trimmed |
water, boiling | |
60 g | butter |
60 ml | dry white wine |
½ tsp | salt |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 200°C.Lay the asparagus spears in a shallow pan and cover with salted boiling water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 8 minutes. Drain.
Grease a baking dish. Arrange asparagus stalks inside.
Melt the butter in a saucepan and and stir in the wine. Pour over the asparagus.
Bake for 15-20 minutes.
