Asparagus and mushrooms in chablis sauce recipe details
Ingredients
10 sprig(s) | asparagus |
4 | mushrooms, sliced |
50 g | butter |
120 ml | Chablis wine |
2 tbsp | double cream |
Instructions
Melt butter in a saucepan and add mushrooms. Stir for 30 seconds. Add the wine and asparagus.Cover and steam for about 5-10 minutes. Remove asparagus.
Bring sauce to the boil and boil quickly for 2 minutes. Reduce heat and add cream. Stir to blend. Return asparagus to the pan and cook for another 2 minutes over low heat.
