Asparagus and ham lasagna recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | asparagus, woody ends removed, sliced |
2 tbsp | butter |
1 medium | onion, chopped |
100 ml | vegetable stock |
200 ml | single cream |
salt and pepper | |
nutmeg | |
250 g | ham, diced |
6 | lasagna sheets |
120 g | freshly grated cheese |
½ bunch(es) | parsley, chopped |
Instructions
In a saucepan, melt the butter and fry the asparagus slices for 3-4 minutes. Stir in the onion and continue to fry. Add the ham and cook over low heat for 3-4 more minutes. Pour in the stock and the cream. Bring almost to a boil. Reduce the heat and stir in the parsley. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg.Preheat the oven to 170° C.
In a buttered casserole layer in turn lasagna sheets and asparagus sauce until all is used up. Sprinkle with the grated cheese.
Bake for 30-35 minutes.
