Asian turkey pan recipe details
Ingredients
600 g | turkey breast fillet, diced |
1 small | piece of ginger, grated |
1 bunch(es) | spring onions, sliced |
400 g | mixed vegetables, frozen, ready to cook |
2 tsp | curry paste |
100 ml | single cream |
2 sprig(s) | cilantro, chopped |
3 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
3 tbsp | oil |
100 ml | vegetable stock |
salt and pepper | |
sugar |
Instructions
In a saucepan, bring 200ml water to a boil. Add the frozen vegetables and bring to the boil again. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, over medium heat until the vegetables are done, but still a bit firm to the bite.In a large pan or wok heat the oil. Stir-fry the meat until golden all around. Add the garlic, curry paste, ginger and spring onions and stir-fry for a few minutes. Deglaze with the cream and the stock. Add the vegetables with their cooking water. Cook over low heat for a minute. Season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar.
Sprinkle with cilantro and serve with rice.
