Arvilla's rice pudding recipe details
- Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups pre-cooked rice
- 1 Tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/2 cup raisins (or more)
- Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Arvilla is owner Sharon Bacek’s mother.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Add 1/2 cup milk and stir. Repeat adding milk and stirring 4 times until milk is used. Add cooled, melted butter. Pour mixture into rice. Add raisins. Sprinkle nutmeg on top.
Bake 1 hour or until knife inserted in middle comes out clean.
