Arugula and fig salad recipe details
Ingredients
8 | fresh figs |
125 g | arugula, stems removed |
100 ml | extra-virgin olive |
salt | |
cayenne pepper | |
175 g | fresh goat cheese, crumbled |
Instructions
Place the figs in a paper bag and refrigerate for 2 hours as this will make them easier to cut.Arrange the arugula on a serving platter.
In a small bowl, stir together the oil and salt and cayenne pepper to taste until well mixed.
Cut the unpeeled figs crosswise into thin slices and arrange atop the arugula. Scatter the cheese over the figs. Stir the dressing again and pour it over the salad and serve.
