Artichoke hearts in stilton sauce recipe details
Ingredients
8 | artichoke hearts, canned, drained |
100 g | Stilton, crumbled |
2 tbsp | butter |
200 g | cream |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 | onion, chopped |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
1 dash(es) | dry white wine |
sugar |
Instructions
In a pan, melt the butter. Add the artichoke hearts and sauté for a minute. Take out of the pan and set aside. Season with salt and pepper.Add the garlic and the onions into the pan and sauté until lucent. Stir in the cream and simmer for some minutes. Add the Stilton and cook stirring until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy. Season to taste with salt, white wine, sugar and pepper.
Arrange the artichokes on small plates and pour over the sauce. Serve with fresh baguette.
