Arabian lamb recipe details
Ingredients
12 | minced lamb or mutton, if you can get it |
1 large | onion, chopped |
2 clove(s) | garlic, finely sliced |
6 | dried apricots, chopped |
2 | pine nuts |
2 tbsp | chopped parsley or coriander |
¼ tsp | allspice |
2 tbsp | olive oil |
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Fry the pine nuts in the oil until lightly brown. Remove and keep warm.Fry the onion, until it is starting to brown. Add the minced lamb, garlic and apricots and stir fry until cooked. Add a little water or stock if the mixture gets too dry and season to taste.
Add the pine nuts and parsley or coriander, stir and serve with rice or pitta bread.
