- 6 to 12 baking apples (Always use 2 different types of baking apples.)
- 4 Tablespoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Sugar Twinor 3/4 cup regular sugar

Core apples and remove the skins; dice in quarters and place in pan. Add all other ingredients. (Do not add water.) Cover and cook. Only cook until done; you want to leave some of the apples in chunks.
