Apple pear sauce recipe details
Ingredients
4 | red apples, peeled, cored, sliced |
4 | green apples, peeled, cored, sliced |
3 | pears, peeled, sliced, pitted |
juice of 1/2 lemon | |
2 tbsp | water |
140 g | granulated sugar |
2 tsp | vanilla extract |
½ tsp | cinnamon, ground |
½ tsp | nutmeg, ground |
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a large pot and mix well.Cover and cook, whilst stirring often, over low heat for 30 minutes, until apples are soft.
Remove from heat and let cool. Process mixture in a blender until smooth.
