Ingredients
½ kg | cooking apples |
1 kg | potatoes |
1 tbsp | sugar |
50 g | butter |
Instructions
Peel and quarter the potatoes and cook in salted water until done. Meanwhile peel, core, and slice the apples. Place in a pot with a tablespoon of water, and add the sugar. Bring to a boil and cook until soft.Drain the potatoes and and mash thoroughly. Add the apples and butter and mash slightly. Stir until well combined. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Goes well with pork chops or fried calves’ liver.
