Ingredients for Sauce:
2 medium apples, cored and sliced (peel on)
2 Tablespoons brown sugar (approximately)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon butter
Dutch Babies
1 cup flour
4 large eggs
1 Tablespoon butter
1 cup of milk
Instructions:

Sauce: Melt butter in a ten-inch skillet over medium heat. Add apples, cinnamon, and sugar and stir till apples are soft and sauce forms. Adjust for sweetness and set aside.

Dutch Babies: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Put eggs and milk in blender and process at high speed until mixed. With blender operating at high, gradually add flour until mixture is smooth. Set aside. Heat butter in ten-inch cast iron skillet in oven until it turns brown. Pour in batter, then applesauce. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Slice into 4 wedges when done.

Serves:4

To serve 6, multiply quantities by 1-1/2 and use twelve-inch skillet instead.
