Apple cinnamon syrup recipe details
Ingredients
1 ½ l | apple juice |
3 stick(s) | cinnamon, broked |
1 kg | brown sugar |
1 l | water |
1 l | corn syrup |
120 ml | lemon juice |
Instructions
Combine apple juice and cinnamon stick in a medium saucepan. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes; set aside.Combine sugar and water in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Add apple juice and syrup and cook for 5 minutes.
Remove form heat and strain syrup, then stir in lemon juice.
Ladle into jars, leaving a bit of head space. Seal caps and process for 10 minutes in boiling water.
