Ingredients
8 medium | eggs |
3 tbsp | sugar |
300 g | vanilla yoghurt |
200 g | flour |
1 kg | apples, sour ones like e.g. Boskop or Holsteiner Cox |
2 tbsp | icing sugar |
Instructions
Grease a pie form and preheat oven to 180°C.Separate the eggs. Mix the yolk with sugar and stir until creamy. Add yoghurt and egg in turns.
Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the dough. Apply the dough evenly to the pie form.
Peel and quarter the apples, carve fan-shaped and put them on top of the dough.
Bake the cake at 180°C for about 40 minutes. After baking, garnish with the icing sugar.
