Albanian garlic and walnut sauce recipe details
Ingredients
1 ½ tbsp | plain flour |
60 g | butter |
olive oil | |
15 | walnuts, chopped |
6 clove(s) | garlic, chopped |
2 | egg yolks, beaten |
hot chicken stock |
Instructions
Sprinkle a pan with the flour and heat until the flour turns slightly brown. Take from heat immediately.In another pan, melt the butter. Add the garlic and cook until golden. Add the flour and stir until well combined.
Remove the pan from the heat and add the walnuts and the egg yolks, stirring constantly. Add hot chicken stock until the mixture becomes creamy. Finally stir in some olive oil.
